Report of a Case with Tachycardia - Bradycardia Syndrome

Abstract

|
A case with tachycardia-bradycardia syndrome was described with the review of the literatures. This 23-year old male complained of fatigability, palpitation, syncope, dizziness and chest discomfort, which were persisted for 2 years until visiting our hospital. A grade 3 localized apical systolic murmur was heard and radial pulse was irregular.
The chest X-ray was negative, and the liver and spleen were not palpable. The first electrocardiogram showed the atrial flutter with rapid ventricular responses, but the late ECG that was done after the attack of Adam-Stokes syndrome, revealed the S-A block finding such as nodal rhythm. He was not improved even though isoproterenol, and atropine were administered.
